Professor Renaldas Gudauskas, Director General, National Library of Lithuania
Professor Renaldas Gudauskas has worked as the Director General of the National Library of Lithuania since 2010. He has previously worked as the Advisor for Information and Communication to the President of the Republic of Lithuania and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania and has been the Director of UNESCO International Knowledge Economy and Knowledge Management Centre of Vilnius University. Renaldas Gudauskas has also been Dean of the Faculty of Communication of Vilnius University.
Renaldas Gudauskas is the national representative of the UNESCO Information for All Programme (IFAP), member of the Lithuanian National Commission for UNESCO, expert at the European Science Foundation and Chairman of the Lithuanian Library Board. Moreover, he is a member of the Technical Committee LST TK 90 “Human Resource and Knowledge Management” of the Lithuanian Standardization Department, IFLA Management and Marketing Committee.
